Teacher Appreciation Week - Thanks to all of our families that contributed last week with all the food, treats and massages. We definitely felt appreciated! And a huge thank you to the coordinators, Stephanie Daniels and Kim Daly.

Field Day – 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade – Students must wear athletic shoes, bring a water bottle, and have sunscreen applied before arriving at school. Students may also wear hats. Visitors/volunteers, please park in the east & west parking lots. Do not park along 99th Ave. or 99th PL.  If you would like to take your child home once the afternoon events are finished, please sign your child out with their teacher. Please avoid taking siblings out early, as this can be disruptive to their classroom.

Board Candidate Letters/Voting–Electronic voting will end on Tuesday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m.   There is a computer available in the office during office hours. Paper ballots will be available at the annual JA Board meeting on Tuesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the elementary library. The general Board meeting will be held immediately following the annual meeting.

Lost & Found – All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of our last day of school on May 23.

Missing/damaged Text Books, Library Fines, etc. – Please take care of any fines by Thursday, May 17.  Any fines not paid will be added to your child’s Jeffco Connect account.

Medication – If your child has medication in the school clinic, it needs to be picked up by noon the last day of school on May 23rd. District policy requires a parent/guardian to pick up any unused or discontinued medication at the end of each school year. Any medication left in the clinic on May 23rd will be disposed of that day.

Mileage Club finished up for the year with a fun special charm day.  It was a great way to celebrate another successful year at Mileage Club.  This year, as a school, we logged over 2,800 miles! Way to go Jags!  Thanks to all the parent volunteers who made the program happen this year, and also to Anne Leoni for coordinating this program.

If you have a special need due to a disability, plan to attend one of our events, and wish to request accommodations in order to participate, contact Shelly Cohen, 303-438-1011 ext. 6162.  Please call in advance so that appropriate arrangements for reasonable accommodations may be made.
