Families wanting to enroll their child(ren) at Jefferson Academy will participate in EnrollJeffco. First Round enrollment will be December 5, 2023 - January 12, 2024. Students will be placed in a lottery and offers for enrollment will begin going out January 23, 2024. When a family is offered and has accepted a position for Kindergarten, they will need to complete the online registration and upload a copy of birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency.
Second round will begin January 18, 2024. This is for families that did not participate in the first round or would like to apply to schools that they did not include in the first round. Students will be placed at the bottom of the first round list according to their application date.
We are a K-12 charter school. Grades Kindergarten - 6th grade on our campus. Grades 7 - 12 are located at 11251 Reed Way. Students enrolled in the elementary are guaranteed a position at our secondary school.

- Second Round Open Enrollment begins January 29, 2023. This is for families that did not participate in EnrollJeffco (First Round). Students in Second Round are placed at the bottom of the First Round lists.
Kindergarten
We have five full-day classes. Along with a certified teacher, each classroom has fulltime educational assistant. Children entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by October 1.
Our school hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students may arrive as early as 7:45 a.m. and go directly to their classroom.
Class Size
Full-day Kindergarten classes with have approximately 20 - 22 students. Grades 1st through 6th grade vary from 26 – 28 students. We have four classes in grades 1st through 6th. Every classroom has an educational assistant working with the teacher five to seven hours each day.
